Kailey Remien, DO

  • Medical School: Campbell University Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Pediatric Residency: Akron Children’s Hospital
  • Research Interests: I am doing a dual fellowship in PCCM and clinical informatics. My research career goal is to use this education to understand and impact patient outcomes at the intersection of pediatric critical care and social epidemiology. I hope to use data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimize patient health and quality of life in and outside of the PICU.
  • What I like about fellowship: The people here are incredible. The attendings, nurses, RTs and obviously my co-fellows, make this tough job so much better. We're all there for each other during the hard times and celebrate even the smallest of wins! We are so well supported across the board and these people quickly become family.
