Education and Training
Nationwide Children's Hospital Education is home to numerous ACGME accredited and other medical and surgical Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs. Nationwide Children's also hosts numerous non-ACGME accredited training programs including medical student, nursing and allied health programs; educating learners from nursing, physician assistant, and allied health care fields, e.g., pharmacy, speech and language pathology, occupational therapy, psychology, child life and social work. Beyond this, activities include clinical informatics, quality improvement education and ABMS maintenance of certification, simulation, life support training, outreach education, continuing medical education and conferencing, community education, and an international educational program.
