What Is the Quality Leadership Academy (QLA)?
- QLA takes visionary leaders and empowers them to drive transformative change.
- We aim to further develop leaders with knowledge and skills to measure, evaluate, and improve clinical outcomes using quality and safety methodologies.
- The course comprises 12 sessions over 8 months plus project work and other assignments.
- You will be required to travel in-person for 6 sessions. All other sessions will be attended virtually.
- QLA is appropriate for any healthcare leader (providers & staff) who wants intensive QI training by developing and carrying-out their own QI project and plans to lead future endeavors.

- We require participants to come prepared with a quality initiative they would like to work on throughout the course.
- Quality initiatives should be data-backed, clinically-focused, and within your area of control.

What Are the Costs?
- $8,000 - This price is per person and covers the costs of 2:1 coaching where you will be paired with an expert NCH Center for Clinical Excellence executive coach and a quality coach throughout the academy. It also covers all planning, preparation, facilitation, and course materials.
- The cost of travel (flights, meals, and hoteling) is separate and paid for by the participant.
- You will be required to travel in-person for the designated 6 of 12 sessions.
- A light breakfast is included at each in-person session.
