Quality Improvement Bootcamp - We Come to Your Institution!
- QI Bootcamp is designed as a 1-day, immersive, hands-on training session on common tools used for Quality Improvement in healthcare.
- Facilitated at your institution by our expert NCH Center for Clinical Excellence staff members
- Attendees are grouped into work teams and a QI effort is worked on throughout the day.
- QI Bootcamp is appropriate for any healthcare team (providers & staff) who wants hands-on training on the tools needed to develop and carry-out successful QI projects.
LEARN-DO-TEACH Model
- Participants learn the tool from the expert facilitators
- Then do by immediately putting the tool into practice within their work teams
- Post-event, participants take the learnings back to their teams within their department and teach by leading and engaging others in QI efforts that drive immediate & long-term results.
- This model allows you to engage with your team in dynamic workshops designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and unified problem solving for continuous improvement.

- At the end of each QI Bootcamp, each work team has worked through the steps of a QI project and drafted a Key Driver Diagram (KDD), including an aim statement, key drivers and prioritized interventions, which can then be continued by the project team after the event.
- As a jointly accredited provider, Nationwide Children’s Hospital can award up to 6.0 CE credits for certain disciplines after QI Bootcamp completion.

The price noted above covers the costs of bootcamp planning, preparation, facilitation, and all course materials.
- The cost of travel (flights and hoteling) for the facilitator(s) will be estimated & shared with you based on your location.
- Your institution is responsible for arranging and covering the costs of the meeting space, basic AV, and breakfast & lunch for participants.
- Bootcamps are scheduled during normal business hours, M-F: 8 AM – 5 PM.
