Meet Our Fellows and Alumni

Abby Sullivan
Administrative Fellow, First Year

Abby attended Virginia Tech, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and minored in Economics and Health Communication. She is currently completing her Master of Health Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. As a graduate student, Abby has taken on leadership roles as the ACHE and HMFA Chair for the Class of 2027 and has participated in a case competition, further developing her skills in strategic thinking and collaboration.

Alongside her academic experience, Abby has gained professional experience as a Program Assistant for the Central Virginia Health Executives Group and has contributed to writing business case studies for a strategic management textbook. She also served as a student worker in the Dean’s Suite at VCU, where she supported day-to-day operations and administrative initiatives. She is particularly interested in clinical and financial operations, strategic planning and growth, patient experience, and community health initiatives, and is eager to continue expanding her knowledge in these areas.

Outside of work, Abby enjoys reading and updating her Fable account, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, listening to her favorite artists, and playing LinkedIn daily puzzle games, especially Zip.

Jassani Bailey
Administrative Fellow, Second Year

Jassani attended Miami University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Administration. During her undergraduate career, she held several leadership roles, including serving on executive boards of Love You Like a Sister, Miami University Gospel Singers, and the Zeta Mu Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She also worked at the Center for Career Exploration and Success as a Peer Career Coach and served as an undergraduate teaching associate. Her passion for healthcare and health equity deepened while working as an office assistant in a private pediatric practice, primarily serving Medicaid patients. Jassani is currently completing her Master of Health Services Administration at Xavier University. As a graduate student, she has participated in case competitions and led the planning and facilitation of student networking events aimed at strengthening relationships among students, alumni, and healthcare leaders. She also worked as a Support Services Coordinator at CareStar, Inc., where she supported Medicaid waiver programs and contributed to cross-functional projects in revenue cycle management, business development, and healthcare operations.

She is particularly passionate about maternal health, health equity, population health, and quality improvement initiatives. Outside of work, Jassani enjoys spending time with family, exploring new restaurants, and playing the daily Wordle.
