  • Clinical Interests: Rare lung diseases, cystic fibrosis, and pulmonary complications of sickle cell disease. I also plan to incorporate global health and working with local, underserved populations into my pulmonary career.
  • Research Project: I am in the beginning stages of working on a project regarding fecal elastase levels in patients with cystic fibrosis and on modulator therapy, as well as a project investigating steroid use in patients with sickle cell disease. I hope to work abroad at some point during my 2nd or 3rd year to apply some of the information I obtain through my study regarding steroid use in patients with sickle cell disease.

  • Research Project: My research is focused on studying the prevalence of restless leg syndrome in children with cystic fibrosis and CRMS.
