Seeking Healthy Teens to Help Us Understand the Brain

What Is the Purpose of This Study?

The purpose of this study is to investigate teens who are psychologically healthy to better understand how their behaviors, brain, and other biological systems develop.

Who Can Take Part in This Study?

Teens who may be eligible:

  • Are between the ages of 12-17
  • Do not have a history of mental health treatment
  • Do not have a history of suicidal behaviors or attempts
  • Are fluent in English

What Will Happen During This Study?

  • Teens and their caregivers complete mental health, cognitive functioning, and social behavior surveys.
  • Teens will have a non-sedated MRI scan, a blood draw and a saliva collection.

Will We Be Paid for This Study?

Yes, participants will be compensated for their time.
