Do Kids With Hearing Loss Have Different Reading Preferences?

What’s the purpose of the study?

Children who are deaf or hard of hearing may have difficulty learning to read. Through this study, Nationwide Children’s Hospital is trying to understand what youth with and without hearing loss prefer to read. The information will help them design ways to improve reading skills for those who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Who can take part in this study?

Parents or caregivers of school-aged (K-12) children with or without hearing loss.

What will happen during the study?

Participants will complete an online survey that takes approximately 10 minutes.

Will we be paid for the study?

At the end of the survey, participants can enter to win a $250 gift card.
