What Is the Purpose of this Study?
The purpose of this study is to help researchers collect samples and medical data to create a base for future research on prune belly syndrome (PBS) to investigate the cause of PBS and try to improve the lives of those individuals and their families.
Who Can Take Part in This Study?
Individuals affected with prune belly syndrome and their family members are invited to participate.
What Will Happen During This Study?
Participants will have 1 visit to a Nationwide Children’s clinic or other collection location. The visit may last up to 3 hours and will include:
- Research consent
- Medical and surgical history
- Family history
- Photographs
- Blood, saliva and urine samples
Will We Be Paid for This Study?
No. Participants will not be compensated.
