The Studies of Pediatric Liver Transplantation (SPLIT) Registry Study

Phase: Recruiting

Condition(s): Liver Transplant

What Is the Purpose of This Study?

This prospective study will collect data from pediatric liver transplant recipients to evaluate outcomes following transplantation. The data will be used to identify factors associated with patient and graft survival, length of hospital stay, readmission, and longer-term post-transplant outcomes. Findings will help identify best practices, guide quality improvement initiatives, and support future research aimed at preventing and reducing immune and non-immune complications after pediatric liver transplantation.

Who Can Take Part in This Study?

People who may be eligible:

  • Are between 0 and 18 years of age at the time of transplant.
  • Received a liver-only, a combined liver-kidney, or a combined liver-pancreas transplant.

What Will Happen During This Study?

This prospective observational study collects clinical data from pediatric liver transplant recipients during routine care to evaluate transplant outcomes and support future research and quality improvement efforts.
