What Is the Purpose of This Study?

The purpose of this study is to find out if a phone app can help the learning-to-drive process among teenager and beginner drivers.

    • provides individualized feedback on driving errors and a driving safety score each week to reflect driving performance, as well as educational materials on car maintenance;
    • on top of individualized feedback, driving safety scores and educational materials, it provides reminders on situational supervised driving practices such as driving in the rain or driving at night; and
    • provides only educational materials.
  • Complete quizzes based on the education materials through the app.
  • Teens and parent/guardian will each complete five surveys over the study.

Will We Be Paid for This Study?
