Clinical Pathway: Clostridioides Difficile Infection
Clostridioides (formerly Clostridium) difficile infection (CDI) can be associated with increased mortality, prolonged hospitalization, increased hospital costs. This guideline will provide evidence-based recommendations for the diagnosis and management of CDI in children, including diagnostic and antibiotic stewardship, focusing on appropriate CDI testing and targeted therapy in the inpatient and outpatient care settings.
