Honoring Our Nurses
The quarterly Nationwide Children’s Hospital Daisy Award was presented to Lauren Montaine, RN of C4B. The Daisy Award is given in appreciation of the important difference our nurses make in the lives of our patients and families at Nationwide Children’s.
Nationwide Children’s has once again received the highest achievement in nursing excellence.
The American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program® for excellence in nursing services has granted Nationwide Children’s Hospital ANCC Magnet Recognition® for a fourth time.
This prestigious recognition is the ultimate benchmark in nursing excellence and is awarded to only about eight percent of the nation’s more than 6,000 hospitals across the country. Of that number, only seven percent has achieved designation on four occasions.
Nationwide Children’s was the first freestanding pediatric hospital in Ohio to achieve Magnet™ status in 2005 and this latest designation will stand until 2023.
