In-Person Interview

The most qualified candidates will be invited to a meet and greet with a Talent Acquisition representative and/or hiring managers. This is a chance to:

  • Answer and ask questions

After Offer: Background Check and Health Screening

Our patients’ health and safety is in our hands. Upon hire, all new employees must complete a background check and drug screen and obtain any necessary immunizations

Welcome to the Team! 

All new employees are required to attend orientation where you will:

  • Learn about our mission, values, journey and strategic plan
  • Enjoy a welcome reception with your manager
  • Sign up to attend a Zero Hero safety program training (at a later date)

Parking and Location Information

Nationwide Children's Talent Acquisition Office is located at 611 E. Livingston Ave., across the street from the hospital. Please use this map to help you find the best route to Nationwide Children's Hospital Employment Services. Applicants coming in for an interview should park in the adjoining applicant parking garage located 635 E. Livingston Ave. Please allow yourself additional time due to road construction.

How is the application processed?

Once you are satisfied with your application and you submit it, it is stored in a secure database. Applications are then forwarded to the appropriate manager for consideration. If you are selected as a candidate for a position, you will be called by a Nationwide Children's Hospital representative to be scheduled for an interview.

What if I get an error?

If you are experiencing system errors with your login or are unable to complete the application due to technical issues, please email HRSvcCntr@nationwidechildrens.org.

A common error message encountered is ‘failure to complete all required fields.’ Please be sure to complete all fields that are marked as required.

What if I do not complete the application?

If a candidate creates an account and starts an application, the application status will be saved. A candidate can log back into their Candidate Dashboard to resume their application. Look for "Status Incomplete" and click "Continue Application." 

How many jobs can I apply for?

You may apply for as many jobs as you feel fit your qualifications and interests.

Do you need a separate application for each position?

Yes, you do need to fill out separate applications. However, if you have registered, much of your personal information will be retained for each application.

How do I check my application status?

To check the status of an existing application, please login to your Candidate Dashboard.

When should I expect to hear back from Nationwide Children's Talent Acquisition department?

If you are selected as a candidate for a position, a Talent Acquisition representative will call you to schedule an interview. At any time, you may check your application status by logging into your Candidate Dashboard.
