After Offer: Background Check and Health Screening
Our patients’ health and safety is in our hands. Upon hire, all new employees must complete a background check and drug screen and obtain any necessary immunizations

- Learn about our mission, values, journey and strategic plan
- Enjoy a welcome reception with your manager
- Sign up to attend a Zero Hero safety program training (at a later date)

Nationwide Children's Employment Services Department is located at 611 E. Livingston Ave., across the street from the hospital. Please use this map to help you find the best route to Nationwide Children's Hospital Employment Services. Applicants coming in for an interview should park in the adjoining applicant parking garage located 635 E. Livingston Ave. Please allow yourself additional time due to road construction.

The Nationwide Children's Hospital Online application collects all the same data as our paper application.This includes the requirements of demographic information, vocational skills, employment history, educational background and references. Please have the necessary resources available before you begin our application.
Applicants with questions about access or requiring a reasonable accommodation for any part of the application or hiring process should contact Human Resources at (614) 355-4111 to request a reasonable accommodation.Once you are satisfied with your application and you submit it, it is stored in a secure database. Applications are then forwarded to the appropriate manager for consideration. If you are selected as a candidate for a position, you will be called by a Nationwide Children's Hospital representative to be scheduled for an interview.
