Speech-Language Pathologists at Nationwide Children’s Hospital help children communicate, connect, and reach their full potential. With more than 150 SLPs across our system, we are one of the largest pediatric speech pathology programs in the country, offering a wide range of opportunities as our team continues to grow.
About Our Speech Pathology Team
- A large and growing team. Join a community of more than 150 speech-language pathologists who support and learn from one another across the system.
- Work close to home. Our SLPs practice across central Ohio and beyond, including regional locations in Toledo, Athens and Ontario, outpatient sites in communities such as Hilliard, Dublin, Marysville, Lewis Center, Westerville, East, Newark and Clintonville, as well as main campus locations. New sites in Grove City and New Albany are coming soon.
- Varied care settings. Opportunities are available across inpatient care, Homecare, the Behavioral Health Pavilion, the Early Childhood Mental Health Program, and the Comprehensive Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Program.
- Broad clinical exposure. Our teams treat a wide range of speech, language and feeding needs, including apraxia, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), cognition, dyslexia, feeding and swallowing disorders, hearing loss, myofunctional disorders, pragmatics, resonance disorders, selective mutism and voice disorders.
- Collaborative care. SLPs are active members of multidisciplinary clinics, working closely with colleagues across specialties to support the whole child.
