Big Lots Behavioral Health Services: Why Us?

US News Honor Roll 2024-2025

US News and World Report for Diabetes and Endocrinology

With nearly 300,000 outpatient visits completed in the past year and more than 1,200 staff members, the Big Lots Behavioral Health Pavilion serves as a hub to the largest pediatric behavioral health network of any children’s hospital in the country. Our community-wide system of care extends far beyond our hospital’s walls to reach children right where they are – at home, at school and in the community.

To meet the growing demand across Ohio and beyond, we expanded inpatient capacity at the Big Lots Behavioral Health Pavilion by adding 10 beds, bringing our total to 66 inpatient and observation beds, with plans for additional expansion in the future. We also launched the Safer Suicide Care Collaborative to strengthen suicide prevention efforts systemwide. In addition, a major grant from the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health supports our initiative to build new talent pipelines and care pathways, addressing workforce shortages and enhancing behavioral health care throughout the state.
