Jamie L. Jackson, PhD (she/her)
Principal Investigator

Jamie Jackson, PhD, earned her doctorate in clinical health psychology from The Ohio State University in 2010. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago then returned to Columbus to complete a second two-year research postdoctoral fellowship as part of a T32 training grant in The Heart Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Jackson joined the faculty in the Center for Biobehavioral Health in 2013.

Taylor Dattilo, PhD (she/her)

Taylor Dattilo, Ph.D., earned her doctorate from Oklahoma State University and completed her pre-doctoral internship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 2025. She is currently a postdoctoral scientist in the Integrative Research Training in Pediatric Cardiopulmonary Disease Fellowship supported by the Ohio State University and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute and the Patient-Centered Pediatric Research Program at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Taylor’s research interests include examining neurocognitive and psychosocial factors that influence the transition from pediatric to adult healthcare for youth with complex medical conditions, including congenital heart disease.

Ruri earned her PhD in Human Sciences, specializing in Kinesiology: Motor Development, from The Ohio State University, where she also completed a postdoctoral fellowship. Her interdisciplinary research spans early childhood physical literacy and the health-related quality of life of vulnerable youth. By integrating public health, education, and community-based approaches, her work aims to enhance outcomes for children and adolescents.

Naina Manocha (she/her)

Naina graduated from the University of Cincinnati in April 2024 with a bachelor’s of science degree in psychology. Her research interests include cardiometabolic risk factors, their role in the progression of cardiovascular disease and how the use of evidence-based interventions can improve cardiovascular outcomes and reduce health disparities. She plans to pursue a PhD in clinical health psychology in the future. Outside of the lab, Naina enjoys painting, traveling, exploring new places around Columbus and spending time with her dog, friends and family.

Marlee Rakouskas (she/her)

Marlee graduated from the University of Miami in May 2025 with bachelor’s degrees in psychology and biology. Her research interests include the interplay of physical and mental health, as well as working with children and adolescent populations. She plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical or Health Psychology in the future. Outside of the lab, Marlee enjoys playing volleyball, painting, and exploring new running routes around Columbus.
