Emre Sezgin, PhD, is a principal investigator at the Center for Biobehavioral Health at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He is also an assistant professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Sezgin received his doctoral degree in Information Systems. He completed his postdoctoral research in clinical informatics, and he was a fellow of PC-PReP training program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Daniel I. Jackson graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in May 2023 with honors. He was awarded with the Undergraduate Scholars Award and worked alongside leading academics in the field of Cognitive Science and Social Psychology. While in Charlotte, Daniel developed an interest in educational barriers and will continue his research at Ohio State University as a Computer Science and Engineering PhD Student in Fall of 2025.

Amad Hussain is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University and an Associate Data Scientist at Nationwide Children's Hospital, with appointments in the Information Technology and Research Institute (IT-RI). His research focuses on the development of conversational AI using natural language processing (NLP) and pre-trained language models (LLMs), with applications in extracting clinical insights from electronic health records (EHR) and patient-generated health data (PGHD).
