Pediatric Dentistry Residency

The hospital-based Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program is offered through a partnership between Nationwide Children's Hospital and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.

The hospital-based Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program is sponsored by The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and offered through a partnership between Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. The 24-month program emphasizes behavior management, sedation, medically compromised individuals, hospital protocols, fourhanded dentistry and orthodontics.

At the conclusion of the program, graduates receive an MS plus certificate. The residency fulfills requirements for eligibility to the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and Community Oral Health.

Application and Selection

The application deadline is September 15.

All applications for the Pediatric Dentistry and Community Oral Health residency program must be submitted through the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) PASS program (Postdoctoral Application Support Service). ADEA PASS simplifies the application process by allowing you to complete one standardized application, rather than individual applications to each program. There is a fee for this service.

All residency applicants are also required to register with the National Matching Service.
