Behavioral Health MFT Internship Program

Behavioral Health Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT) Internship Program

Nationwide Children’s Hospital offers a Behavioral Health Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) Internship Trainee Program for those enrolled in a COAMFTE accredited program, with an interest in specializing in behavioral health care for children, adolescents and families.

  • Our training program offers a variety of specialty placements within Big Lots Behavioral Health Services, ranging from acute psychiatric assessment and intervention, to ongoing therapy in both outpatient and community-based settings. Placements are dependent on availability at the time of application.
  • The program is for trainees working towards graduation/licensure as a Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT). A trainee license is required (MFT-T) to participate in an internship.
