Support Early Literacy
When families have access to books early, it strengthens language skills, supports school readiness and promotes lifelong health. Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library supports early literacy by providing a free, age-appropriate book each month to children from birth to age 5. Encourage your patient families to enroll at NationwideChildrens.org/ImaginationLibrary.
Help Families Access Food Resources
In Central Ohio, more than one in five children experience food insecurity, and the risk grows during summer months when school meals aren’t available. CAP4Kids Columbus makes it easy to connect patient families to free meal sites, summer programs and other essential resources. Share the site with families and complete the form to request free CAP4Kids materials to display or distribute in your waiting areas.
