Renewed Brand Promise

Nationwide Children’s has renewed its brand promise to reflect who we are today and where we’re going. As our organization has grown in size, scope, location and expertise, we are now reaching more families than ever before. With this growth comes a responsibility to meet families where they are and to ensure our brand reflects the full impact of our work.

Our clinical care, research and innovation have evolved significantly over time, touching more lives across more communities. This renewed promise captures that evolution, aligning more closely with the excellence and compassion we deliver every day.

At its core, our brand is about how people feel when they interact with us — the trust they place in us, the experiences they carry with them and the stories they share with others. It lives in every moment, from the waiting room to our most advanced discoveries and breakthroughs. It shapes how we communicate, how we act and how we engage with every patient and family.

As part of this refresh, we are building on the strengths that already set us apart. Our updated brand elements honor our legacy while moving us forward in fresh, intentional ways that feel both timeless and modern. A refined color palette and warm, authentic photography will help bring our story to life in a more human and meaningful way.

And at the heart of it all remains our beloved butterfly, Big Blue. As an enduring and recognizable symbol, Big Blue continues to unite us and represent the hope, care and innovation that define Nationwide Children’s.
