Catherine Krawczeski, MD, is Named to List of “50 Most Influential Clinical Executives”
Catherine Krawczeski, MD, physician-in-chief and chief medical officer, has been named to Modern Healthcare’s 2025 list of “50 Most Influential Clinical Executives. "Nationwide Children's is one of only two standalone pediatric systems represented on this year's list.
This program honors licensed clinicians in executive roles who are recognized by the senior editors of Modern Healthcare and selected for their exceptional achievements in driving innovation, improving outcomes, serving their communities and demonstrating exemplary leadership both within and beyond their organizations. Pediatric Emergency Support Care in OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital
Nationwide Children’s will now provide specialized care for children in the O’Bleness Hospital emergency department during peak hours—from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week. Outside of these hours, pediatric emergency care will continue to be provided by the O’Bleness emergency department team. Nationwide Children’s nurse practitioners will rotate coverage designed to ensure that families in southeast Ohio have access to expert pediatric care without needing to leave the region. Nationwide Children’s providers will work exclusively in the emergency department, offering child-focused expertise and helping to address the unique ways illnesses and injuries present in children. This is in addition to our recent opening of our Close To HomeSM Center on the O'Bleness campus, further strengthening our commitment to meet patients and families right where they are.
