Physician of the Year and Doctor’s Day Celebration – March 26
Join us for a special Pediatric Grand Rounds presentation on March 26 at 8 a.m. Arrive early for a hot breakfast buffet and enjoy a special visiting professorship lecture from Mary Leonard, MD, MSCE. Dr. Leonard is the Arline and Pete Harman professor and chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine and the Adalyn Jay physician-in-chief at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. The Physician of the Year award will also be presented.
2026 Physician Recognition Award Nominations
The Medical Staff Recognition Committee is accepting nominees for the 2026 Career Contribution Award, Golden Stethoscope Award, Art of Medicine Award and Outstanding Community-Based Award. The recipients of these awards will be recognized at the Medical Staff Excellence Awards event on Tuesday, September 16, at the Nationwide Children’s Conference Center. The guidelines and nomination form can be found in the MedStat email PDF attachment. Additionally, nomination forms were sent on February 1 via SurveyMonkey. Nomination forms should be returned to the attention of Yvonne Jackson in the Medical Staff Office by March 31.
