Steve Testa: President, Nationwide Children's Foundation

Steve Testa

Steve Testa was appointed president of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation in 2018. He joined the Nationwide Children’s team in 2014 and served as senior vice president and executive director.

Testa leads the fundraising arm of one of the largest children’s hospitals in the United States, an institution with patients from all 50 states and 50 foreign countries, accounting for more than 1.9 million patient visits annually. Nationwide Children’s Hospital is ranked in all 10 specialty areas evaluated in the U.S. News & World Report’s annual compilation of America’s Best Children’s Hospitals.

With nearly 25 years of philanthropic experience, he is an acknowledged leader in the industry. Steve was named to the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy International’s 40 Under 40 list in 2019, and he has been a featured presenter at venues including the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy International, the Association for Fundraising Professionals, The Woodmark Group, the University of Pennsylvania, and others.

Prior to joining Nationwide Children’s in 2014, Steve was assistant vice president of the Valley Health System Foundation and Director of Major Gifts at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He has also been a consultant at CCS Fundraising. Steve completed the Columbia Business School Developing Leaders Program in 2012 and received his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credentials in 2015. Steve has a bachelor of arts in English from The Catholic University of America.
