2nd Annual Pediatric Cardiology Symposium
October 11
The Pediatric Cardiology Symposium is for health care providers who treat and evaluate pediatric patients. The conference will address the diagnosis, management, and indications for referral for common pediatric cardiology diagnoses through lectures, panel discussions and small group sessions.
2024 Extended Reality (XR) Symposium
October 15
The conference will highlight emerging technology, research findings, and innovative applications and create partnerships in the field of extended reality across a number of industries. Our goal in hosting this conference is to bring together extended reality (XR) enthusiasts from across the Midwest to share exciting XR projects, happenings, and lessons learned, generate new ideas, stimulate collaboration and foster a multi-industry XR community in the region. 3rd Annual Pediatric Dermatology Conference

Hosted by Nationwide Children’s Dermatology Clinic, this conference will highlight updates on pediatric dermatologic conditions frequently seen in the primary care practice. The goal is to equip primary care providers with the knowledge and resources to confidently care for these patients and to gain insights into the pediatric dermatology clinic. Click here to register.
2024 Clinician Well-being Summit
October 23-25
The Fourth National Summit on Promoting Well-being and Resilience in Health Care Professionals will take place at the Hilton Columbus Downtown. This national forum will focus on enhancing well-being, resilience and healthy lifestyle behaviors across all health care professions and health sciences students. Presentations will focus on factors contributing to burnout and resilience, effective interventions to reduce the risks of burnout and promote healthy lifestyle behaviors, and changes to the systems and cultures of healthcare settings that improve employee well-being and resilience. This summit is a collaborative initiative amongst Wexner Medical Center, the Ohio State Health Sciences, Fisher College of Business, the College of Social Work, the National Academy of Medicine and Nationwide Children’s.
Pediatric Gastroenterology for Primary Care Clinicians

This one-day hybrid conference is aimed to provide primary care and general pediatric clinicians with up-to-date information on the identification, diagnosis and management of common gastrointestinal conditions. Additionally, attendees will receive practical resources to help care for their patients and the opportunity to build community with the pediatric gastroenterology team at Nationwide Children’s via discussion and socialization. Pediatric Oncology Integrated Diagnostics and Targeted Therapies Symposium
November 7-9
This hybrid symposium, sponsored by the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Division of Hematology, Oncology, and Blood & Marrow Transplant, in collaboration with Department of Pathology and the Institute for Genomic Medicine, will provide a comprehensive three-day overview of current and developing diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, allowing pediatric oncology teams to integrate these new tools at each stage of care of children with cancer. The Nationwide Children’s Pediatric Sports Medicine and Orthopedics Conference is designed for health care providers who treat pediatric patients with sports medicine injuries and orthopedic problems. Afternoon breakout tracks available in Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation and MSK Ultrasound.
40th Annual School Health Update Conference

This hybrid conference will highlight dynamic speakers on topics such as sleep equity, substance misuse, mental health in school-aged children and more. Participants will have access to hands-on skills sessions in the simulation center.
