Behavioral Health Primary Care ECHO
The Behavioral Health Primary Care ECHO series supports primary care providers in the assessment and management of behavioral health concerns for their patients. Sessions include short presentations on commonly seen conditions in primary care such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma and eating disorders, followed by behavioral health and pharmacological guidance.
Nationwide Children’s Hospital offers a Behavioral Health in Primary Care: Foundations series and Continuity series.
Series Participants:
- Will receive up to 11 hours of professional training
- Many of our ECHO series offer CME/CE credits at no cost to you. For series specific CME/CE information, contact NCHProjectECHO@NationwideChildrens.org.
What to Expect
- Attend and participate in a 60-minute weekly session using a virtual platform
- Submit a case to present to the group and engage in interactive discussions, share knowledge, experience and resources
- Collaborate with an expert team in providing recommendations
- Interact with other participants of the series in a collaborative environment

Participant Requirements
- Front facing camera/smart phone and functioning microphone/speaker
- Commitment to the 11-week series and each 1-hour learning session
- Complete online pre- and post-survey
Foundations Series
When: Series will take place Tuesdays, noon to 1 p.m., starting January 9, 2024. Dates are: January 9, January 23, February 13, February 27, March 12, March 26, April 9 and April 23, 2024.

- Depression and mood disorders
- Anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder
- Irritability and aggression
- Gender dysphoria and sexuality
- Eating disorders
- ADHD
- Trauma and PTSD across the age continuum
- Nonpharmacologic interventions for trauma
- Trauma-related psychopharmacology
- Working with trauma-focused systems

Continuity Series
Behavioral Health in Primary Care – Continuity Series
A longitudinal series focused on advancing the knowledge and skills gained from the Foundations series and staying up to date on behavioral health conditions within primary care settings (e.g., treatment guidelines, recent innovations, legislation, tools, and resources needed to continue supporting your patients).

Dates: Third Tuesday of each month, beginning January 16.
