Homecare Therapy Services

Nationwide Children’s Hospital Homecare offers physical, occupational and speech services to children birth to 17 years in Franklin, Delaware, Fairfield, Licking, Lucas, Hancock and Wood counties.

Homecare therapy services are ideal for patients who are medically fragile, have complex medical conditions or lack access to transportation to attend outpatient appointments.

We provide therapy to address delays in development or address deficits after an illness or injury.

Conditions We Treat

Our team provides therapies and services for:

  • Delayed development of cognitive, motor and social skills.

  • Nervous system problems (Cerebral palsy, spina bifida, brain and spinal cord injuries)

  • Babies born too early
  • Problems brought on by long-term illness
  • Feeding, swallowing, and oral motor disorders
  • Autism
  • Fluency, articulation, hearing and language disorders

How to Become Patient

Homecare clinical therapy services are available with a referral from the patient’s physician.

Referring physicians or practices can call (614) 355-1100 or 800-466-2727, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., to arrange a referral by providing the following information:

  • Type of insurance/payer
  • Patient name, address, date of birth, diagnosis
  • Physician ordering care
  • Patient care/equipment/infusion need
