Meet Our Special Guest
This year we welcome renowned pediatric colorectal surgeon Richard J. Wood, MBChB, FCPS(SA). Dr. Wood — chief of Colorectal and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Nationwide Children’s — is one of the most recognizable names in pediatric colorectal surgery. He leads a high-volume, multidisciplinary colorectal and pelvic reconstructive surgery center that attracts patients from across the U.S. and around the world. Dr. Wood will be part of the conference program and also available at our booth to talk about practical bowel management pathways, Hirschsprung decision-making, motility and colorectal patient co-management, tough re-operative cases and research partnerships.
Check out Dr. Wood’s recent appearance on the NASPGHAN podcast, Bowel Sounds, "What Every Pediatric GI Needs to Know About Anorectal Malformations."
