Nationwide Children’s Hospital Redesignated with American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet Recognition®

The American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program® has awarded Nationwide Children’s Hospital its fifth consecutive Magnet Designation. The ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® recognizes health care organizations worldwide for their commitment to nursing excellence and innovation. There are just over 600 Magnet designated hospitals in the world, with less than 1% having achieved this honor five or more times.

Today, the Abigail Wexner Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital praised the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its accelerated approval of SRP-9001/ELEVIDYS for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) following decades of research in its Center for Gene Therapy to help patients with neuromuscular diseases.
