Special Notice: Volunteer Opportunities
With the continued concerns regarding COVID-19, our utmost responsibility as a health care system is to keep our patients, employees, volunteers and visitors safe. As a proactive step to limit the spread of COVID-19 in our community, we have paused onsite volunteering at Nationwide Children's Hospital. The goal of this temporary pause is to help people remain away from others and slow the virus’ spread.
Our timeline is undetermined, as our priority will be to have our current volunteers return safely sometime in 2021. Until then we have suspended the acceptance and processing of new volunteer applications.
We appreciate everything volunteers do for our patients, guests and staff. We look forward to welcoming volunteers back and will update this page when the volunteer restrictions are lifted.

Entertainment and Special Events
Entertainment and Special Events are part of our healing environment and includes music, theater, dance, performance or other special events.
We look for groups that are well rehearsed, have previous public entertainment experience, and who can perform or interact for 40 to 60 minutes.
These events are booked on Monday through Thursday evenings, or Sunday afternoons at least one month in advance. Our November and December calendars are typically filled by October.
Contact (614) 722-3635 or Volunteering@NationwideChildrens.org to discuss details.
