One in 137 American teenagers identifies as transgender. One in 2,000 children have a difference of sex development. At Nationwide Children’s Hospital, we know there is no “one size-fits-all” model when it comes to supporting our patients.
- Our THRIVE program (Team-driven Healthcare that Respects Individuals and Values Emotions) includes a multidisciplinary specialty team that works hand-in-hand with families to create individual care paths.
- We work with each patient ensuring we take a holistic approach to address both their psychological and physical needs.
- We believe in a balanced approach to care that takes the time to understand the patient and entire family.
Our Programs
Each section of the THRIVE program has an intake process. For more information regarding each THRIVE Program please refer to the appropriate team to determine your child’s specific needs.
