Gail Besner, MD, chief of Pediatric Surgery and principal investigator in the Center for Perinatal Research in the Abigail Wexner Research Institute (AWRI) at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, was named the 2024 Allen Distinguished Scholar in Pediatric Research.
