Mission and Objectives

The mission of the Ambassador Program is to provide supportive services to families while visiting Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The strategy – proven successful at institutions around the country – is to facilitate a patient experience that inspires gratitude and engagement with the hospital. Grateful family philanthropy benefits the hospital’s mission by providing funds for programs that are underfunded or non-revenue generating, but also can be therapeutic and beneficial for the families themselves.
