Pediatric ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) Obesity will empower primary care providers to treat their overweight patients utilizing the best treatment methods available. 14th Annual Bodies in Motion Conference: Evaluation and Treatment Considerations for the Adolescent Athlete

This course will educate participants on unique return to sport considerations for the adolescent athlete. Areas addressed in this course will include the management of growth plate injuries, the role of imaging in rehabilitation, identifying and managing clinician burnout, ACL return to sport guidelines and testing, motion analysis and more. Sickle Cell Trait and Disease in 2024: Primer for the Primary Care Provider

This symposium aims to educate primary care providers (PCPs) and other health care professionals regarding the diagnosis and management of sickle cell trait and sickle cell disease. A solid knowledge and understanding of sickle cell disease is essential for PCPs to diagnose sickle related conditions, counsel patients appropriately, and know when to refer to the academic center for evaluation and treatment. The International Scholars Program hosts international pediatricians, nurses, and other health care allied professionals to observe our clinical activities and multi-disciplinary teams and interact with our families and communities to improve the health care of children globally.
This short-term program is for clinical observation only and cannot be used for academic credit or to fulfill requirements for specialty training. Please send an email if you are interested in mentoring an international scholar or to learn more about the program.
