Biography
Jeffery Auletta, MD, is a blood and marrow transplant physician at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He is a physician in both Hematology/Oncology/BMT and Infectious Diseases at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Dr. Auletta is a professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He is a member of the Leukemia Research Program at The NCI-designated Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center and a member of the Center for Regenerative Medicine and Cell-based Therapies at The Ohio State University.
Dr. Auletta completed his internship and residency in Pediatrics and his fellowships in both Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and Pediatric Infectious Diseases at University Hospitals and Case Medical Center/Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. He earned his doctor of medicine from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and his bachelor of arts from Northwestern University.
Dr. Auletta is a member of several professional organizations, including the Children's Oncology Group (COG), the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (ASBMT), the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS) and the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA). He is Co-Chair for the Infection and Immune Reconstitution Working Committee of the Center for International Blood & Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) and for the Supportive Care Committee of the Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant Consortium (PBMTC).
