Biography

Jamie Macklin, MD, is an associate clinical professor in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, currently practicing as a hospitalist at the OSU Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA, and completed an internal medicine/pediatrics residency at the OSU Medical Center/Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus, OH. She has been a faculty member at Nationwide Children’s since 2011 and has been the section chief for Adult Hospital Medicine intermittently since 2014.

Her non-clinical interests currently include quality improvement regarding safe sleep and both breastfeeding and human trafficking education. She serves on a number of local and regional committees focused on reducing infant mortality.
