Biography

Charles Redman, MD,  joined Nationwide Children's Hospital in July 2006 when he began his residency in IM/Peds. He received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He graduated residency in June 2010 and stayed as a faculty member in Hospital Pediatrics in July 2010. He currently splits his time between Nationwide and The Ohio State University as an IM/Peds Hospitalist. In his time as a Hospitalist, Dr. Redman has focused on teaching and education. He has served as the IM Residency Director of Clinical Coaching and Remediation and as a Faculty Tutor for clinical medical students since 2013. He has served as an instructor to Med 1s and Med 2s in their Longitudinal Curriculum at OSUCOM since 2010. He is has been a recipient of the Grant Morrow III Teaching Award for Outstanding Teaching and Practice of Pediatrics as well as the Internal Medicine Excellence in Teaching Award since joining as a faculty member. Dr. Redman is married to Raquel Reinbolt, MD (a breast oncologist at the James Cancer Center). They have 1 daughter, Callista, born in 2016.
