Rhinology Clinic
The Rhinology Clinic at Nationwide Children’s Hospital is a multidisciplinary clinic involving Charles A. Elmaraghy, MD from the Department of Otolaryngology who works closely with Elizabeth A. Erwin, MD from the Section of Allergy and Immunology to treat specific nasal problems in children of all ages. Dr. Elmaraghy and Dr. Erwin use a variety of technology in order to arrive at a diagnosis. In addition to their clinical activities, both physicians are actively involved in research at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
About
The clinic specializes in diagnosis and treatment of these conditions and is designed to perform advanced endoscopic diagnostic procedures and allergy testing. The physicians work together to provide comprehensive treatment plans for children with chronic runny nose and severe nasal symptoms from allergies and sinus infections.
Our Team

Charles A. Elmaraghy
Charles A. Elmaraghy, MD, FACS, FAAP is the John E. Wolfe Endowed Chair of the Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Nationwide Children’s - Toledo and professor in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He is a board certified otolaryngologist - head and neck surgeon and is also board certified in complex pediatric otolaryngology, having completed additional fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology at Children’s National Medical Center at George Washington University Medical Center. He was a recipient of the Golden Stethoscope Award in 2018 and has been a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2012.
