EOS Imaging Machine

The EOS machine allows for a radiation dose that is as low as reasonably possible while still providing the necessary information needed for diagnosis. Using the EOS Machine, Nationwide Children’s physicians are able to interpret results using 45 times less the radiation exposure needed for a traditional spinal x-ray exam. This is beneficial for patients who require frequent imaging, such as scoliosis follow-up visits.
