Cassie Ross, PsyD, is a pediatric psychologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital - Toledo who provides care through the Inpatient Pediatric Psychology Consultation-Liaison Service (including the Pediatric Floor, PICU, and NICU), the outpatient pediatric psychology consultation service and outpatient therapy services and she is the coordinator of the Pediatric Psychology Rotation for medical trainees. Her clinical interests include trauma-informed care and supporting youth with challenges such as treatment adherence, acute and chronic feeding concerns, somatic symptom and related disorders, and behaviors that impact medical care. She also specializes in helping children and adolescents cope with medical illnesses, injuries, and hospitalization, as well as addressing anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms.

Nationwide Children's Hospital to Expand Mental and Behavioral Health Research
Nationwide Children's Hospital has created a new Institute for Mental and Behavioral Health Research, significantly expanding opportunities to seek a better understanding of mental and behavioral health in children and to develop better diagnostics, treatment and preventative strategies. Leading this new institute will be Eric Youngstrom, PhD, a nationally renowned psychologist specializing in the relationship of mood and psychopathology, and the clinical assessment of children and families.

Clinical Child Track
Clinical Child Track interns participate in a wide range of clinical activities in an interdisciplinary outpatient community mental health center setting. Interns have frequent opportunities to consult with other professionals and respond to frequent requests for case-centered consultation with social workers, clinical counselors, psychiatrists, educators, and primary care pediatricians.
