New Study Highlights Urgent Need for Targeted Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Support for Sexual and Gender Diverse Youth
Researchers from the Center for Injury Research and Policy of the Abigail Wexner Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital analyzed six years of multistate child death review data from the United States and found that 81% of sexual and gender diverse youth in the dataset died by suicide, despite many receiving current or prior mental health services.

OhioHealth and Nationwide Children’s Hospital Partner to Bring Care for Whole Family in New Ontario Building
OhioHealth and Nationwide Children’s Hospital are partnering to bring expert care for the whole family under one roof in Ontario. A wide range of outpatient services will be available in the new building, including primary care, obstetrics and gynecology, and pediatrics. The 42,000 square foot facility will be located on W 4th Street in Ontario, in the same lot as the current OhioHealth Ontario Health and Fitness Center.
