Join us in Downtown Columbus at Genoa Park on Saturday, October 21, 2023, for the inaugural Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness 5K benefiting Nationwide Children's Hospital.
In recognition of Pregnancy, Infant, and Child Loss Awareness Month, the Timmy’s Kids fundraiser within the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation is holding this community event to honor the memory of our departed little ones. Timmy’s Kids is named after Timothy Matthew Stang, who passed away shortly after birth due to a neural tube defect.
Race proceeds will support the Neonatology team at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Timmy's Kids previously donated a heartbeat recording stethoscope and care packages to families anticipating infant loss, and would like to continue supporting the team as needed.
Timothy's life, like that of all children, was important and we seek to honor his memory through this 5K event. On behalf of the patients and families of Nationwide Children's Hospital, thank you for your support!
