Michael F. Perry, MD, is chief of the Section of Hospital Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Perry attended medical school at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio and completed his pediatric residency training with an additional chief year at Nationwide Children's Hospital. He is board certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Perry currently serves as Medical Director for the Hospital Pediatrics inpatient unit where he collaborates with nursing leadership, promotes patient safety, and improves operational efficiency. His research interests include diagnostic error reduction, discharge efficiency, and situational awareness.
