Taking Some of the Hassle Out of Health Care: Meet the New NationwideChildrens.org

Apr 24, 2018

As a digital marketer, I’ve had the pleasure of working behind the scenes at Nationwide Children’s Hospital for almost 20 years. As a mom, I’m driven to help eliminate some of the stress that comes with a sick or injured child. Putting our families first is a core value of our organization, and it’s one our team stands by every day.

If you’ve visited NationwideChildrens.org in the past and stopped by again today, you may notice things look and function a bit differently. Our digital team has been working diligently behind the scenes to bring you a new site, and it’s here! We launched an updated NationwideChildrens.org with you - our patient families - in mind.

Here’s what you need to know about the new NationwideChildrens.org.

It’s made for exploration

We reorganized content and made it easier to find what you need when you’re in a hurry and new things to explore when you’re not. From quick access to maps and directions to health and wellness resources; the new site delivers relevant content for your needs.

It’s made for researching answers

Find a doctor. Access upcoming education courses for parents. Search for a condition. Find what to expect before an overnight or extended stay. Our site makes it easier to search, investigate and discover.

It’s made with accessibility in mind

Whether you’re on your desktop, phone or tablet, you can find the information you need, no matter your device.

Location information is easily accessible on your mobile device or tablet, making it stress free to find an address when you’re on the go. You can even request an appointment from your phone.

It’s made for you

We talked to parents and physicians to inform the site’s features, functionality and design. Their feedback helped shape its look and feel.

We collected a lot of feedback along the way, but we’re always open to hearing more! Please feel free to share your thoughts with us via email or any of our social channels.
