Employee Deductions
Full-time employees may participate in the payroll deduction program through your ID badge - it works as a debit account. Employees may use this feature around the hospital and for special events, such as:

Events
Employees can participate in Nationwide Children’s summer family events, Family Night at COSI, and Thank you luncheons for your anniversary. Enjoy free movie tickets on your birthday; enter our frequent drawings for tickets to various sporting events and Broadway series productions; and attend our annual Staff Appreciation Day event for a special treat.
Employee Referral Program and Bonuses
Our referral program provides employees the opportunity to get rewarded for referring qualified candidates to work at Nationwide Children’s. If their referral is hired, employees are automatically entered into seasonal prize drawings for the chance to win $500 Amazon gift cards. Additional “hot job” incentives for roles that are difficult to fill and referral bonus opportunities are announced on a per-position basis. Additional requirements may apply.
Nationwide Children’s Pharmacy
Most prescriptions for hospital employees and family members can be filled at the main hospital Outpatient Pharmacy. Prescription costs can be processed through payroll deduction. There is no discount on prescriptions. This is simply a convenience for employees.
Employee Discounts
Nationwide Children’s employees have access to a variety of merchant discounts in the community including entertainment and travel, home and auto services, apartments, restaurants, technology services, uniforms, beauty and salon services, pet services and more.
Sports Teams/Leagues
Employees have the opportunity to participate with their fellow employees in hospital-sponsored sports teams, including softball, volleyball, soccer, golf, tennis and more.
