Safety City
Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the City of Columbus Department of Neighborhoods partner together every summer to host Safety City for central Ohio children, ages 5 to 7. This FREE, 4-day program is filled with active learning and features a safety village. Children will learn about traffic signals, fire prevention and stranger awareness from local firefighters and police officers.
Upon completion of the program, each child will get a Certificate of Achievement during a graduation ceremony. Space is limited to 50 children for each location.
