March 26, 2026

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – Nationwide Children’s Hospital opened its 20th school-based health center at Groveport Madison Schools in Groveport, as part of ongoing efforts to increase access to health for students and the broader community.

In partnership with Groveport Madison Schools, the school-based health center, located on Groveport Madison’s High School campus (4475 S. Hamilton Road), provides additional access to health care services, such as primary care visits, immunizations, dental care, asthma therapy and more. The new facility is open to all staff, students and Groveport community members ages 0 to 21.

“The Groveport Madison community will greatly benefit from the presence of Nationwide Children’s Hospital on our campus and in our district,” said Groveport Madison’s Superintendent Jamie Grube. “We know that access to health care and education are closely tied to one another, so we are looking forward to partnering with Nationwide Children’s to support our staff, students and the greater Groveport community.”

The new 2,700-square-foot facility offers two exam rooms, one lab and three dedicated rooms for dental care, where Nationwide Children’s staff provide comprehensive dental treatments, like cleanings, oral exams, x-rays, fluoride treatments and more.

“The school-based health center at Groveport Madison marks our 20th site since we first launched this work in 2015,” said Mary Kay Irwin, EdD, Associate Vice President of School Health for Nationwide Children’s. “It is a great honor to be trusted with the health and well-being of students and community members across central Ohio. This new center reflects our ongoing commitment to reaching kids right where they are, and providing the high-quality health care they need.”
