Funds raised during Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, August 2 stay local to help Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® help kids get back to being kids

July 27, 2018

Columbus, OH – On Thursday, August 2, participating Dairy Queen® locations in central Ohio will come together to raise funds for Nationwide Children's Hospital, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

On Miracle Treat Day, $1 or more from every Blizzard® Treat sold will support the life-saving research and care provided by Nationwide Children’s. Last year, more than $34,000 was raised for the pediatric hospital.

Since 1984, the Dairy Queen® system has raised more than $130 million for the CMN Hospitals through fundraising efforts including Miracle Treat Day, the Miracle Balloon campaign and other local initiatives. Including Nationwide Children’s, CMN raises funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada.

To help celebrate Miracle Treat Day, fans are encouraged to use #MiracleTreatDay on social media and invite others to join them in visiting a participating DQ location on Thursday, August 2 and help kids get back to being kids.
