The Westy Open Paddle Tennis Tournament Slated for March 3

TWIG 3, an auxiliary of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, invites the public to its Westy Open Paddle Tennis Tournament beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 3. All proceeds from the event benefit Big Lots Behavioral Health Services at Nationwide Children’s.

Participants will have the opportunity to compete in an all-day, co-ed paddle tennis tournament held at multiple locations throughout Columbus. Depending on skill-level, players will be assigned to play at Elysium Tennis Club, Scioto Country Club, Columbus Country Club or Rocky Fork Country Club. All skill-levels are welcome. Morning and afternoon sessions are available.

New this year is The Westy Junior for teens ages 13-18. This half-day, round robin tournament will begin at noon at the Swim & Racquet Club in Upper Arlington. Players will have the opportunity to participate in other activities between rounds of paddle tennis. All equipment will be provided.

The Westy Open Tailgate Party, taking place from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Friday, March 2, will begin the weekend’s events. The tailgate party will take place at a private home near Bexley and the location will be included in the registration confirmation. Please note, the tailgate party is a separate event from the paddle tennis tournament.
